About
Pulmonary (About The Book) serves as a guide for Registered Nurses (RNs) transitioning to Nurse Practitioner (NP) roles, with a focus on pulmonary conditions. This program is written by a Family Nurse Practitioner, who journey's from a Certified Nursing Assistant to an NP, emphasizing my passion and empowerment. The book is structured into sections such as "The Journey" (covering NP practice essentials like assessment and treatment), "Stop Light" (guiding knowledge mastery), "Navigation" (evidence-based practice), "Scenic Route" (board exam preparation), "The Bridge" (RN to NP transition), "The Highway" (mnemonic song for board exams), "The Destination" (mnemonic exploration of conditions), "The Toll Booth" (board-like questions), "The Rest Area" (fun learning activities), and "Memory Lane" (review encouragement). The document aims to support RNs with practical, engaging, and evidence-based tools for NP certification and practice.
